AI-assisted triage tool delivers rapid stroke diagnosis

A new stroke triage tool, AUTOStroke, powered by artificial intelligence has been made available in the UK. The imaging innovation analyses and categorises diagnostic brain images automatically following a CT scan to detect signs of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in 30 seconds, compared to a 30 minute scan to manual-reporting timeframe, which is even more challenging in the middle of the night which is often the case.
