Dr. Wayne Brisbane and several other physicians at UCLA Health have used the software to help manage prostate cancer patients, according to the vendor. With the assistance of deep-learning algorithms, Unfold AI combines patient-specific data from prostate imaging, biopsies, and pathology to create a 3D cancer estimation map. As a result, physicians can visualize the extent of a patient’s prostate cancer and provide more personalized treatments, Avenda said.
