Canadian medical device regulator Health Canada issued class II medical licenses for Lunit’s Insight CXR AI software for chest x-rays and Insight MMG AI application for mammography. Designed to detect suspicious lesions in chest x-ray images, Insight CXR can detect 10 of the most common chest abnormalities, including support for tuberculosis screening, with 97% to 99% accuracy, according to the vendor.
